We‘ll be recreating the original Welsh Highland Railway of
the 1920s and 1930s with the return of a Baldwin 4-6-0PT locomotive to the line for the first time in over 70 years.
 Teddy Bears' Picnic -
May 30th & 31st
Children
go FREE if they bring a teddy bear to the railway. See if you can spot the bears hiding the Big Shed and
win a prize.
Watch out for Biggles the mischievous bear, who‘ll
be riding on the train.
Welsh Dragons - July 18th & 19th 
The friendly red dragons
are taking over the Engine Sheds for the weekend.
But they‘re shy animals sometimes, see if you can find them
and win a prize!
 Summer Steam Spectacular - July 18th to September 4th
Steam trains are running every day through the holidays. Join us for a ride through
the Snowdonia countryside, as well as chance to visit the engine sheds. Our regular steam locomotives may be joined by a surprise
visitor.
There‘s a double steam spectacular from the end of July when steam trains
return to the Cambrian Coast main line between Machynlleth, Barmouth & Porthmadog. Passengers on "The Cambrian" can also
get a third off a ride on the Welsh Highland Railway (Porthmadog). Simply come to our shop and show your ticket from the main
line train.
Jack the Station Cat Book Signing

Children‘s author Alan Cliff will be at Porthmadog (WHR)
station signing copies of his new books about the adventures of Jack, the friendly station cat, who lives at Tails End station.
 Hallowe'en - October 31st
Join us for some spooky goings on in the Russell Tea Room after nightfall as our resident witch cooks
up a brew or two.
Come to the Russell Tea Rooms between 18.00 and 19.00 before joining a special evening train (If
you are brave enough!).
